How Long Does It Take to Rewire the Brain From Addiction?
Addiction can change brain chemistry, brain cells, and the way brain chemicals regulate mood and behavior. Over time, the brain becomes affected by repeated substance use, making it harder to control cravings. The good news is that brain healing is possible. With addiction recovery and proper addiction treatment, the brain can gradually begin to repair itself and rebuild healthy patterns.
